Dwarf Eats Mountain FAQ

Dwarf Eats Mountain is an incremental idle mining game where you dig through a mountain, collect resources, upgrade your equipment, and manage prestige cycles. The game features deep build order optimization, artifact systems, boss fights, and a True Ending route that requires careful long-term planning.

Your first prestige should happen around 20-30 minutes in, once your gold per second starts plateauing. The three-phase build order focuses on: rapid early upgrades, first prestige for multiplier bonuses, then a second prestige push for artifact unlocks. Don't wait too long for your first prestige — the multiplier bonus compounds quickly.

S-tier artifacts include the Golden Pickaxe (mining speed multiplier) and the Diamond Core (prestige bonus). A-tier artifacts focus on passive gold generation and critical hit chance. C and B-tier artifacts are situational and should only be equipped if you have no better options. Full tier list rankings are available in our artifact guide.

The Goblin King has three phases: normal (basic attacks), enraged (50% HP trigger, doubled damage), and desperate (10% HP, summons minions). Bring healing potions for the enraged phase and use AoE attacks to clear summons. Save your strongest cooldowns for the desperate phase to burst him down before more minions spawn.

The True Ending requires completing the Calamity event, reaching T6 Endless Mode, and fulfilling specific artifact conditions. You need at least 3 S-tier artifacts and a minimum prestige count of 10. The route takes approximately 15-20 hours of active play following our optimized build order.
