Enemy Tiers

  • Normal — Standard enemies, low threat individually
  • Elite — Stronger variants with new attacks, mini-bosses
  • Boss — Unique encounters, multi-phase fights, best loot

Corroded Enemies

The Corroded are mist-mutated creatures that roam the hunting grounds. They attack in groups and overwhelm through numbers.

Corroded Crawler

  • Tier: Normal
  • Threat: Low
  • Attacks: Lunge, scratch
  • Strategy: Headshot with any weapon. They die in 1–2 hits.

Corroded Brute

  • Tier: Normal
  • Threat: Medium
  • Attacks: Charge, ground slam
  • Strategy: Dodge the charge, attack during recovery. Ground slam has a 2-second wind-up.

Corroded Spitter

  • Tier: Normal
  • Threat: Medium
  • Attacks: Ranged acid spit, melee claw
  • Strategy: Close distance quickly. Spitters are weak in melee. Use cover to approach.

Corroded Stalker

  • Tier: Elite
  • Threat: High
  • Attacks: Leap attack, stealth approach, combo slash
  • Strategy: Watch for red eyes in the mist — that’s a Stalker approaching. Parry the leap attack for massive posture damage.

Corroded Hulk

  • Tier: Elite
  • Threat: Very High
  • Attacks: Multi-hit combo, grab, area roar
  • Strategy: Break posture with Hammer or Greatsword. Don’t trade hits — Hulks deal massive damage per hit.

Corroded Mist Lord

  • Tier: Boss
  • Threat: Extreme
  • Attacks: Mist cloud, teleport strike, summon Corroded
  • Strategy: Stay mobile. Kill summoned Corroded first. Attack during teleport recovery. Fire weapons deal bonus damage.

Corroded General Tips:

  • Always carry fire arrows or fire spells
  • Headshots deal 50% bonus damage
  • Kill Spitters first — their acid reduces armor durability
  • Use area damage for groups (Greatsword, Staff)

Lizardfolk Enemies

The Lizardfolk are organized reptilian warriors with military-style formations. They’re tougher individually but attack in smaller groups.

Lizardfolk Scout

  • Tier: Normal
  • Threat: Low
  • Attacks: Spear thrust, dodge roll
  • Strategy: Basic enemy. Attack after their thrust — they’re vulnerable during recovery.

Lizardfolk Warrior

  • Tier: Normal
  • Threat: Medium
  • Attacks: Shield bash, sword combo, block
  • Strategy: Break their shield with heavy attacks (Hammer, Greatsword). Once the shield breaks, they’re vulnerable.

Lizardfolk Archer

  • Tier: Normal
  • Threat: Medium
  • Attacks: Poison arrows, melee kick
  • Strategy: Close distance and engage in melee. Archers are weak up close. Dodge arrows sideways, not backward.

Lizardfolk Champion

  • Tier: Elite
  • Threat: High
  • Attacks: Multi-weapon combo, shield charge, war cry (buffs nearby Lizardfolk)
  • Strategy: Kill the Champion first — its war cry buffs all nearby Lizardfolk. Break posture with heavy attacks.

Lizardfolk Shaman

  • Tier: Elite
  • Threat: High
  • Attacks: Heal allies, poison cloud, lightning bolt
  • Strategy: Priority target. Shamans heal other Lizardfolk, making fights endless. Kill them first, always.

Lizardfolk Warlord

  • Tier: Boss
  • Threat: Extreme
  • Attacks: Command strike, whirlwind, summon reinforcements
  • Strategy: Phase 1: Break shield, attack during recovery. Phase 2: Dodge whirlwind (3-second wind-up). Phase 3: Kill reinforcements first, then focus Warlord.

Lizardfolk General Tips:

  • Frost damage slows Lizardfolk significantly
  • Break shields before attacking — shielded Lizardfolk block 80% of damage
  • Kill Shamans first — they heal the entire group
  • Use stagger-heavy weapons (Hammer, Greatsword)

Boss Encounters

Bosses are the most dangerous enemies in Mistfall Hunter. They have multiple phases, telegraphed attacks, and drop the best loot.

General Boss Strategy

  1. Learn the telegraphs — Every boss attack has a visual cue 1–3 seconds before it hits
  2. Dodge, don’t tank — Boss attacks deal massive damage even with good armor
  3. Attack during recovery — Every boss has 2–4 second recovery windows after big attacks
  4. Break posture — Posture breaks create 5+ second vulnerability windows
  5. Manage resources — Don’t burn all your potions in phase 1

Boss Phases

Most bosses have 2–3 phases:

PhaseHealthBehaviorStrategy
Phase 1100–60%Standard attacks, moderate damageLearn patterns, save resources
Phase 260–30%New attacks, faster, summons alliesKill adds, stay mobile
Phase 330–0%Enraged, maximum damage, desperateBurn cooldowns, finish fast

Notable Boss Mechanics

  • Mist Lord — Teleports and summons Corroded. Kill adds between phases.
  • Lizardfolk Warlord — Commands reinforcements. Kill Shaman adds first.
  • Zone Bosses — Unique mechanics per zone. Check the Enemies Database for specific strategies.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of enemies are in Mistfall Hunter?

There are three main enemy types: Corroded (mist-mutated creatures), Lizardfolk (reptilian warriors), and Bosses (unique powerful enemies). Each type has Normal, Elite, and Boss variants.

How do I fight Corroded enemies?

Corroded enemies are weak to fire and headshots. They attack in groups and can overwhelm through numbers. Use area damage and keep moving to avoid being surrounded.

What are the Lizardfolk weaknesses?

Lizardfolk are weak to frost damage and stagger easily from heavy attacks. Their posture breaks faster than Corroded, making Hammer and Greatsword effective against them.

How do boss fights work in Mistfall Hunter?

Bosses have multiple attack phases with telegraphed moves. Learn the visual cues for each attack, dodge or parry accordingly, and attack during recovery windows. Bosses drop the best loot in the game.

Do enemies scale with zone tier?

Yes, enemies in higher-tier zones have more health, deal more damage, and have new attack patterns. A Normal-tier Corroded is much weaker than a Cataclysm-tier Corroded.
