Cannot survive above 80°C without adaptation. Hot Caves and Tadpole Pens locked behind this.

Bring Distraction Flares and First Aid Kits — Site 3 is guarded by a Marrowbreach.

How to Get Heat Tolerance

Clear 3 Bloom infestations in order

Site 1: Below Spider Dome (230m WSW of Lifepod)

Blast viral bloom blocking the way down

Site 2: Edge of Jelly Barrens (240m NNW of Lifepod)

Edge of Jelly Barrens

Site 3: 200m NW of Lifepod (Guarded by Marrowbreach)

Final site — Marrowbreach becomes more aggressive as Bloom Parasites attach

Use Distraction Flares and destroy Cankers quickly. After all 3 sites cleared, interact with the Angel Comb core.

What Changes After

Hot Caves now accessible

Tadpole Pens now accessible

New resources: Salt, Sulfur, Gold
