The ocean is full of fish but avoid eating them at the start. Digestive Incompatibility blocks your character from processing alien food. Until cured, your only safe food is Nutrient Blocks from supply crates.

Unlock Digestion Adaptation

Visit the Angel Comb, approximately 160m north-northeast of the Lifepod. It’s a massive glowing pink-and-purple plant. Interact with it to unlock Digestion Adaptation.
