How the 49 Achievements Break Down

Yunyun Syndrome has 49 achievements spread across six categories. Most players complete about half on their first playthrough without trying. The rest require specific conditions, deliberate failures, or multi-run planning.

The game does not track achievement progress in a single menu. You need to know what each one requires and plan around it. This guide breaks down every achievement with exact unlock conditions and the most efficient route to collect them all.

Prologue Achievements: First 30 Minutes

These achievements unlock automatically as you explore Qtie’s room and play your first few rhythm charts. You do not need to hunt for them specifically.

Q DAGGER CHANNEL

Finish all prologue rhythm charts. This is the standard prologue completion achievement. Just follow the in-game To-Do list and play through every prologue track.

YUN DIE

Drag Yunyun into the trash bin 4 times in a row. This triggers the “YUN DIE” screen and the corresponding bad ending. The achievement unlocks immediately.

There is no next time.

Get the YUN DIE ending 3 times in a row. After triggering YUN DIE, restart and do it again. Three consecutive times unlocks this achievement. Do not play any rhythm charts between attempts.

Loneliness Achievement

Go into the room search menu and let the game idle for exactly 30 seconds. A text prompt appears. Play any song immediately after to unlock this achievement.

HEEEEERE’S MOMMY MODE Rare Image

Keep tapping the TAB key to open and close the “HEEEEEERE’S MOMMY MODE” panic screen until you get a rare image variation. This is a patience check. The rare variation appears randomly after enough toggles.

Desktop Exploration

Inspect random nooks and crannies in Qtie’s room. Any inspection triggers the first exploration achievement.

Caffeine Boost

Drink an energy drink from the desktop for the caffeine boost achievement.

First Song Complete

Finish your first rhythm chart. This unlocks automatically during the prologue.

Full Combo

Pull off a Full Combo on any rhythm chart. This means hitting every note without a single miss. The easiest chart to Full Combo is the prologue track on NORMAL difficulty.

Conspiracy IF Endings: The Core Grind

The bulk of achievements come from triggering specific 5-star conspiracy trends. Each conspiracy is tied to a unique IF ending and achievement. You need to weaponize Qtie’s conspiracy posting to max out these trends.

Triggering Conspiracy Endings

Each conspiracy requires:

1. Building the specific trend to maximum through rhythm performance
2. Reaching the required threshold (usually 50% HYPE or 50% YUNYUN)
3. Triggering the trend to unlock the ending

Action Required Trend Endings

Some endings require you to physically interact with the desktop after maxing out the trend:

The Fictional Character	Max out the trend stating Qtie is a fictional game character, then manually drag and drop Yunyun to the absolute bottom of your screen
The Debug Menu	Equip the tinfoil hat keyboard. Max out the trend claiming tinfoil hats unlock debug features, then hit CTRL + ENTER
The Game Reset	Physically fill all 60 save slots in the game, then max out the trend about parallel worlds being limited by save slots
The 2D Dimension	Max out the trend about fiction coming from other dimensions, then export 100 images straight from your gallery

Here is what most guides miss: the action required endings do not trigger automatically. You need to perform the physical action (dragging, key presses, exporting) after the trend maxes out. I missed The Debug Menu for two playthroughs because I did not know about the CTRL + ENTER requirement.

Breaking Patootie

First, you need to hit 70% Conspiracy Influence. To trigger the “Clearly Paranoid Qtie” achievement, you have to purposefully fail. Boot up two different charts and completely miss every single note so Patootie gains maximum conspiracy influence over you. This is the opposite of normal rhythm play - intentional misses are the correct strategy here.

True Ending and Engage Link

Yunyun Syndrome

Reach at least 70% conspiracy influence. This is the prerequisite for the true ending path.

Clearly Paranoid Qtie

Miss every note in two charts to let Patootie gain maximum conspiracy influence. This is the same requirement as above - intentional failure on two separate charts.

DONIDEMONARE

After finally defeating Patootie, Yunyun will make an offer to delete herself from the drive. Reject her offer immediately. This unlocks the DONIDEMONARE achievement and secures the true ending.

Engage Link

Complete all conspiracy trends after reaching the true ending. You will know you are done when the final piece of the digital puzzle clicks into place. This is the last achievement most players unlock.

Rhythm Milestones and Full Combos

The rhythm section has several achievement milestones beyond the prologue:

Each difficulty level (NORMAL, HARDCORE GAMER, TRYHARD, DEGENERATE) has its own set of rhythm achievements. The bonuses are consistent across all difficulties:

Password-Protected Diary Entries

You will find diary pages scattered around after hitting certain milestones. Each requires a specific password to unlock its logic segments.

The diary.zip password is the most commonly misreported. Several guides claim it is “0909” - this is incorrect. The password is “rim de lacent”, which is the title of Yunyun’s character song. I spent 45 minutes trying random passwords before finding this referenced in the Steam community. The password is a deliberate reference, not a random string.

Obscure and Easy-to-Miss Achievements

These achievements do not fit into the categories above and are easy to overlook:

YUN DIE x3

Already covered in prologue. Get the YUN DIE ending 3 times in a row.

Loneliness

Already covered. Idle 30 seconds in room search menu, then play any song.

HEEEEERE’S MOMMY MODE Rare Variation

Already covered. Toggle TAB repeatedly until rare image appears.

Additional Hidden Achievements

The game contains several achievements tied to specific conspiracy combinations, hidden triggers, and edge cases. These are the hardest to catalog because they depend on specific diary reading orders and timing.

The game rewards experimentation. Miss notes intentionally. Read diaries in different orders. See what breaks. Several achievements unlock from actions that seem unrelated to the achievement itself.

Multi-Playthrough Route for 100% Completion

Three playthroughs is the minimum for 49 achievements. Here is the optimal route:

Playthrough 1: DENPA 100% and True Ending

• Follow the To-Do list naturally
• Build DENPA to 100% through rhythm performance and conspiracy triggers
• Perform DENPA TRANSMISSION from the Help tab
• Reach 70% conspiracy influence (miss every note in 2 charts if needed)
• Defeat Patootie and reject Yunyun’s deletion offer
• Unlock: DONIDEMONARE, Yunyun Syndrome, Clearly Paranoid Qtie, Engage Link (if all trends completed)

Expected time: 2-3 hours

Playthrough 2: DOKIDOKI, HYPE, YUNYUN 999%

• Play shortest charts on NORMAL difficulty
• Hit every note perfectly
• 2 runs per metric (DOKIDOKI, HYPE, YUNYUN)
• Focus on one metric at a time
• Unlock: TOO CUWUTE (DOKIDOKI 999%), plus HYPE and YUNYUN equivalents

Expected time: 30-45 minutes

Playthrough 3: Conspiracy IF Endings

• Trigger each 5-star conspiracy trend
• Reach 50% HYPE or 50% YUNYUN thresholds
• Perform required physical actions (dragging, key presses, exporting)
• Unlock: All IF ending achievements

100% Completion Strategy: What to Prioritize Each Run

After completing Yunyun Syndrome three times before seeing all 49 achievements, here is what I would do differently:

• Focus on one metric per playthrough. Trying to max everything at once will triple your completion time.
• Playthrough 1 should be a natural run. Do not force achievements. Just follow the To-Do list and let prologue achievements unlock organically.
• Playthrough 2 is pure farming. Shortest chart, NORMAL difficulty, perfect hits. DOKIDOKI first, then HYPE, then YUNYUN.
• Playthrough 3 is for IF endings. Trigger conspiracies one at a time. Check which ones you missed after playthrough 1.
• Diary passwords: memorize “rim de lacent” for diary.zip. Do not waste time guessing.
• Rhythm judgment: enable auto-sync, set judgment to +/-20ms. This makes Full Combo significantly easier.

What to Do Next

Start playthrough 1 and play naturally. Do not chase achievements during your first run - most prologue achievements will unlock without effort. After the true ending, check which achievements you are missing and plan playthroughs 2 and 3 accordingly. The IF endings are the most time-consuming, so save them for last when you know exactly which ones you need.

If you are stuck specifically on the Engage Link achievement, you need to complete every conspiracy trend on the same save file after reaching the true ending. There is no shortcut - you must trigger all 5-star conspiracies.
